The next time you enjoy a meal from one of the many spectacular eateries on State Street, you might stop to notice the 10 freshly painted outdoor dining areas.

On a cool morning on January 30 when most of Santa Barbara was sleeping soundly, our Santa Barbara Paint Depot workers and friends were up early doing what we love to do: give back to the community!

The paint project was part of Friends of State Street on their mission to assist businesses in meeting the city’s design guidelines for outdoor dining.

Paint and supplies for the project were donated by Santa Barbara Paint Depot, which didn’t think twice about not only donating Benjamin Moore Paint, but also helping to paint!

Deep Connections to Santa Barbara

Brothers, Art and Fernando Prado of Santa Barbara Paint Depot have deep family ties to Santa Barbara. Their mission has also been to give back to the city from where their ancestors called home and where they continue to be a main focus.

Their very successful paint store on Laguna Street has proudly supported the Santa Barbara community in many ways by donating time, paint, funds, and always with a smile.
