Opportunity for a Warehouse Associate

Here's what we are looking for.

General:

• Taking in, breaking down and stocking orders to their proper place.
• Being a team player and helping your co-worker out where you can.
• Monitoring inventory and notifying superior when items need to be restocked.
  

Organizing: 

• Upkeeping a clear work area i.e., constant organizing and optimizing of space. On the main floor, making sure all products are facing in the right direction with attention to presentation.
• Assist shipping and receiving, uploading trucks and checking merchandise
• Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Checking in with a supervisor to see what is necessary, anticipation the needs of the back of the house during busy periods.
• Sense of Urgency: Moving with a purpose, prioritizing tasks to optimize duties.
• Customer Service: Greeting customers and helping with their needs when applicable.
  

Knowledge:

• Comprehensive knowledge of Benjamin Moore products/other products and sundries.
• Understanding the needs of our clients, being able to increase product selection to enrich the customers’ experience.
• Learning products by their numerical codes.
• Familiarizing yourself with the layout of the store.
  

Downtime:

• General Cleaning: Wiping down counters and walk ways
• Creating a safer environment for our co-works and clients (cleaning, avoiding hazards in the workplace).
• Keeping the main floor presentable.
  

Deliveries:

• Customer Service: Delivery drivers are an extension of the brand, treat all interactions as if you were in the shop.
• Practice Safe Driving: Being alert, always driving to the conditions of the road/environment and being ready to take action at any time.
